Hi this is Jen Kray from Cornwall in the U.K. and today I’m sharing a funky way to mix Nuvo products with the new Summer Floral Stencils.

These floral themed stencils are perfect to use alongside your favourite Nuvo products to create eye-catching projects.

Add a light sprinkle of Nuvo Shimmer Powder over an A4 piece of watercolour cardstock. Gently mist with water and leave to dry naturally. Repeat until optimum colour achieved. Colours used: Atlantis Burst, Cherry Bomb, Violet Brocade, Blue Blitz.

Add Snow Storm Embellishment Mousse directly on top of your background panel using the Dream Daisies Summer Floral Stencil.

Once completely dry, trim to 5 inches by 3.75 inches. Save the rest of your background for additional projects.

Add Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive in random areas over your panel.

Use your finger to spread evenly.

Add Nuvo Gold Gilding Flakes to the areas with Deluxe Adhesive once tacky.

Gently rub away excess flakes once dry.

Wipe your panel with a paper towel to ensure all excess flakes have been removed.

Trim you panel into sections ranging between ¼ inches and ¾ inches.

Trim a panel of white watercolour cardstock to 5 inches by 3.75 inches. Arrange your panels as shown to ensure correct placement (you may have leftover pieces).

Add foam pads to back of each panel.

Begin to adhere strips as shown.

Place a strip at the bottom as this will help with alignment.

Add the remainder of your strips.

Cut another piece of watercolour cardstock to 5.25 inches by 4 inches.

Adhere your panels and add Champagne Shine Sequins.

Attach to a standard A2 card base or 5.5 inches by 4.25 inches.

Create a splatter using white Embellishment Mousse, and the blue Shimmer Powder mixed into the mousse. Using a paintbrush, splatter into card.

Rub a small amount of blue Stone Drops over your card and attach your sentiment.

Allow to dry overnight before posting as the Nuvo may stick to the envelope.

Recreate using different colours and Nuvo products.
